Some of our new ideas are about helping you to win more government contracts. Through our specialised training courses we support social enterprises, private sector businesses, and the voluntary sector to start winning, or to win more, public sector contracts. Our training courses are designed to help you understand what civil servants are looking for when they assess your tender submission.

The Social Innovation Unit is a social enterprise. We don't think organisations should get rich from the public sector, but we do think we need to be smart, efficient, bold and effective, and for us, a social enterprise is the best way of sharing our message: ideas are important

The Social Innovation Unit is an ideas hub. That’s a bit like a think tank, but without all the politics. We are the bridge between all of the ideas people have everyday, and the innovations that firms, government, and charities need. We work in partnerships with all kinds of individuals, institutions, business, charities and others to harness the power of new ideas to make the world a better place. The Social Innovation Unit works because good ideas always save money. Social Innovation works inside organisations as well as it works for service users and service commissioners together.
